I missed the 30 extra points for meeting a personal goal (I was going to break 205, darn it! Also, I was going to get a bunch of stuff listed on eBay to sell, but time just keeps getting away from me. Monkeys!)
Cat's Challenge Points - starts Sept 1st and goes to December 31st, with weekly reports. The first report is next week on Thursday, Sept. 9th.
Exercise - 31 minutes on my Gazelle strider (I'm probably going to get a lot more mileage out of it after school starts next week, and I can't run off to the gym any time of the day. My teenage babysitters will be in school!) and then 60 minutes of Zumba class

Man, my body is just fighting me! I've been basically the same weight for a week now, and I have WORKED MY REAR END OFF!! I've been in this game long enough not to get discouraged by this, but it's still annoying. I was going to break 205 this HWHL session, that was kind of my goal, so I'm a little disappointed. But I'm betting the scales are going to budge in the morning.

Breakfast - none. I know, shame on me! I just kept telling myself, "I'm gonna exercise, and then eat breakfast." The only problem was that I got so busy, that I didn't get to the exercising until nearly noon.

Lunch - 24 oz. water with exercising, 1.5 pieces of Smith's Whole Wheat Cottage Bread, 2 teaspoons Miracle Whip Light, 1 slice Oscar Mayer Turkey round lunchmeat, 1 wedge Laughing Cow Light swiss cheese
Total calories - 220

Snack #2 - 24 oz. water, 1 cherry Topper ice cream cone from Arctic Circle, 1 wedge Laughing Cow Light swiss cheese, 3 Triscuit Reduced Fat crackers, 1 banana
Total calories - 608

Dinner - 1 Flatout Light Italian whole wheat flabread, 1/4 cup diced italian tomatoes pureed in blender, 2.5 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese, 1 cup frozen spinach heated then put on my pizza, 5 oz. baby carrots or 1-1/4 cup
Total calories - 393

Dessert - 1/2 cup of Homemade Mint Cookies & Cream Ice Cream (recipe below), 1 cup frozen strawberries blended with 1 cup skim milk & 1 tablespoon sugar
Total calories - 353

Mint Cookies & Cream Ice Cream Homemade

1-1/2 Cup 2% milk
3/4 Cup white sugar
1-1/2 Cup half and half
1/4 tsp. pure peppermint extract
a few drops of green food coloring
6 chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed

175 calories and 6.4 g fat per 1/2 cup serving

Blend all the ingredients together, except the cookies, until the sugar dissolves. Process in an ice cream machine until it is thick, then add the cookies. Blend for 1 minute, then eat or put in the freezer overnight to let the cookies soften. Makes about 4-1/2 cups ice cream
